Our Location
The Grace of God Philanthropic Foundation Orphanage is located in the city of Buea in the Southwestregion of Cameroon.
Our History
“I do really like children and taking care of them is a vision from God. I enjoy doing so and it is what God wants me to do.”
That is why Mama Mary Sume Ebane started in 2004 the nonprofit organization with three children in a very small house.
With the grace of God and getting assistance from donors and well wishers, including support from social groups and churches, they were able to acquire a piece of land, where, with further help of many other generous donors, they also could build now this beautiful building and home for actually 28 children in the age of 1 to 17 years.

Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged children by providing food, clothing, shelter, education and healthcare to the deserving children in Cameroon for a bright future.

What we do?
PROVIDING A HOME
When you have the comforts of a home and fresh meals each day, it’s easy to forget that many people around the world do not. We not only provide a safe, stable home for children, we care for them. Each day we are serving many meals and washes countless loads of laundry, all with love and care. Our children attend school, participate in sports, scouts and many other enriching activities.
How can I get involved?
First, we would like you to pray for wisdom, guidance and protection for the Grace of God Philanthropic Foundation Orphanage.
Second, you can donate through various ways:
- Sponsoring a child at the Grace of God Orphanage.
- Donating to the general fund of the Grace of God Orphanage.
- Create your own fundraiser such as a walkathon, car wash, etc
- Present the Grace of God Orphanage your church, school or other group to get them involved.
- Ask your workplace if they do matching funds to double your gift

Can I take a trip on my own without a group?
Yes, we have individuals and groups of various sizes come to visit us. We want to be open to whatever the Lord is leading you as an individual or a group to do. We work with you and let you know what projects we are currently working on and what our needs our so we can best work together!

What language do they speak in Cameroon?
Cameroon is a bilingual country. The two languages are French and English. Where we are located in the Southwestregion, where we are speaking English. Our dialect is Pidgin English.
